About Original Abbie & Abbie Galie

Abbie Galie began creating art, creative assets, and branding over twenty years ago as an independent artist with space located just outside of Philadelphia in Southern New Jersey. She developed a style of work that was popular in physical and digital marketing campaigns during the economic downturn of 2008 before expanding her own independent studio into a small team located near Medford's historic downtown neighborhood. In 2014, Original Abbie moved into our current location above Medford's Main Street and continues to work on small business, non-profit, and organization branding and social media projects in this space near the bustle and din of the shops at street level.

Abbie founded the Destination Medford social media tourism initiative in 2018 in an effort to showcase all of Medford’s small businesses, using the resources of her studio and team behind her client projects. She has successfully spearheaded a myriad of promotional events to garner interest and revenue for the small businesses of downtown Medford such as Merry Main Street, Procrastinator’s Market, The Chocolate Walk, The Dicken’s Festival, and Trick-or-Treat on Main Street to name just a few.

Mrs. Galie is a stakeholder in her community on two fronts, both as a resident of Medford but also a proprietor in her family owned business, Lower Forge Brewery, located in downtown Medford. Mrs. Galie’s continued advocacy for small businesses has led to her recognition and past appointment to Chair of the Medford Economic Development Commission, Vice President of the Main Street Merchants of Historic Medford, as well as to the board of the Medford Business Association, groups she works closely with in engineering and executing town events. She has presented at the New Jersey League of Municipalities as an advocate for strategic and sustainable suburban growth as a board member of Downtown New Jersey.

Her devotion to bolstering the “local” movement exceeds beyond her entrepreneurial interests as she is also principal cellist in the South Jersey Pops Orchestra, a community orchestra comprised of professional and volunteer instrumentalists that she has been involved with since 2010.
